Do I need to create an account to use MigSense?

No. You can start using MigSense as soon as you install it — no email or password required. Your data is stored directly on your device.

Where is my data stored?

All of your attack, symptom, trigger, and medication records are kept on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, that data is synced across your devices only within your own private iCloud account.

Do the AI features send my data outside the app?

If you use an AI feature such as insights, chat, or early warnings, a de-identified summary of your records (without your name or raw health data) is processed for the analysis. This only happens when you actively use the feature. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How does the Apple Health integration work?

With your permission, MigSense can read data like sleep, heart rate, and HRV from Apple Health to correlate it with your attack times, and can write attacks you log back to Apple Health. You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Why does MigSense ask for location access?

Your location is used only to show the weather and barometric pressure at the time of an attack, and only while you're using the app. There is no background location tracking.

Is my voice recorded when I describe an attack out loud?

No. Your audio never leaves your device — speech is transcribed on-device, and only the resulting text is processed when you tap to analyze it.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Privacy → "Delete My Data." See the Delete My Data page for step-by-step instructions.

How do I cancel my MigSense Pro subscription?

Open the App Store app → tap your profile icon → Subscriptions → MigSense → Cancel Subscription. Deleting your app data does not cancel your subscription.

How do the Apple Watch app and widgets work?

The Apple Watch app and home screen widgets share data locally within your own device group (App Group) — this sharing never leaves your devices.

How do I set up notifications?

Go to Settings → Notifications to turn weekly/monthly summaries, medication reminders, early-warning alerts, and daily check-in prompts on or off, and adjust their times.

No. MigSense is a tracking tool designed only to show patterns in your own records; it does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional health advice. Please consult a doctor for decisions about your health.
